Ninja Foodi Best Ribs Recipe took some trial and error
So I’ve tried many different approaches for making ribs but I think after many tries I have found the Ninja Foodi best ribs recipe.
First, grab your ribs and remove the membrane from the back. If you don’t do this the ribs will be tough to separate.
Generously cover and rub your ribs, both sides, with Weber’s Brown Sugar Dry rub (or your rub of choice!)
The first step is to pressure cook your ribs to get the ‘fall off the bone’ tenderness.
Put half a cup of Apple Cider and half a cup of water in the bottom of your pot.
Place the ribs on a trivet at the bottom of the pot (to save the bottom of the ribs overcooking and to get even cooking). Secure your pressure cooking lid and make sure your vent is closed on top.
Pressure cook on HIGH for 30 minutes. Once finished let the ribs sit and natural pressure release for 5 minutes before you open the vent and quick release the rest of the pressure.
Pull out the ribs. Be careful now because the meat by now will be fall off the bone tender!!
Cover your ribs in your favorite BBQ sauce, all over!
Empty out your juices in the pot from the pressure cooking and then place the air crisp basket in.
You will probably have to cut your ribs into two or three strips if they have not already started to fall apart!
Select air crisp 390 degrees and time of 8 minutes.
Close the lid and let the Ninja Foodi work it’s magic!
Check every 4 minutes and make sure the ribs are finishing up nicely.
Crisp to your personal taste.
Add some tasty sides, tonight we had Kingsford baked beans with pork and mashed potatoes.
The end result…..
